B.A.U.S. AT was founded by Mr. Franz Baus in 2001. Since 2017 we are manufacturing at a new site with production area of 13,000 m2 and office building with 1,500 m2. We currently employ over 240 employees. We have a certified quality and environment management system according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to guarantee the highest quality products and reduce carbon footprint. Our conversion range includes ambulances for patient transport (type A1 / A2), emergency (type B / C), bariatric, pediatric/neonatal, intensive care units and other special emergency vehicles based on vans and box bodies of our very own construction.

Our conversions are compliant to requirements of EN 1789 standard, moreover our box bodies do also comply with DIN 13500 standard. The performed dynamic and static tests ensure highest safety standards. Ongoing development of new technologies and materials, compliance with guidelines for body builders, implementation of country-specific standards are fundamental components of our production know-how. Thanks to our flexibility, we build ambulances fully in accordance with customers’ wishes. We have delivered ambulances to over 30 countries such as Germany, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, China, Singapore, Oman and Qatar.
